Natural Parenting Melbourne is interested in setting up new playgroups in and around Melbourne. If you are keen to take on a role in setting-up and coordinating a new group – fabulous we’d love to hear from you.
However it’s usually best to have two or three people who are committed enough to get the new playgroup going as it shares out the tasks more evenly and makes the whole thing more fun. If you don’t have friends who can help, we suggest the following:
1. See if you can link up with other interested people who can help you start a group via our Facebook Page.
2. If it’s convenient, go along to your closest NPM group to get a sense of how an NPM group runs and possibly find others who live near your to start a new group with (even if the group is not currently taking new members they’d be happy to show you how things run). Each group is different and you are welcome to visit more than one.
3. Once you have a team of one or two people who can do the tasks needed get in touch with us.We can offer support and suggestions for how to get things going and can advertise for members of your group through our website and Facebook page.
